- Haematology Cell Research Group
The Christchurch Haematology Research Group is supported by the departments of Haematology, Immunology and Surgery. Its aim is to develop better methods for the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders of malignancy, auto-immunity and infectious diseases. It has built up considerable expertise in the study of dendritic cells (DC), the T cell response to tumour antigens and auto-immune disorders including arthritis. The Centre of Injury and Rehabilitation Research, CIRR (previously the Injury Prevention Research Centre) is part of The University of Auckland's Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, forming, part of the Department of Community Health. - Van der Veer Institute for Parkinson's & Brain Research
