The mission of the Fourth World Documentation Archive (formerly the Fourth World Documentation Project) is to document and make available to tribal governments, researchers and organizations, important documents relating to the social, political, strategic, economic and human rights situations being faced by Fourth World nations and create a historical archive of the political struggles waged by Indigenous Peoples to assert their rights as sovereign nations. The archives, which include Melanesian, Polynesian, and Micronesian documents, may be searched from the site.

- Pacific Studies Initiative
The Pacific Studies Initiative (PSI) is a joint project of the University of Hawai'i Center for Pacific Islands Studies, the East-West Center, Kapi'olani Community College Library, and other partners. The purpose of the online collection is to make available instructional materials for teaching about the Pacific Islands in a wide range of courses, primarily in higher education. The site includes material from specialized courses on the Pacific as well as nonspecialized courses that may facilitate teaching about the Pacific in general humanities and social science courses. By placing syllabi, reading lists and bibliographies online, the site also aims to generate discussion of diverse approaches to teaching about the Pacific.
